Past

The goddess Aine created the world of Asmiara along with witches to populated and shape this new world. She created twelve clans. Six were modeled after her siblings within the void--the destructive concepts as they became known. The other six clans were created for the six concepts she created for her people. These concept--the creative concepts as they became known--she believed was necessary for her people to flourish and grow. Aine build a circular city for her creation to live within, and left them alone. She was curious what they would become without her intervention. and grow they did. Each of the creative concepts created their own species, and eventually all the different species of Asmiara spread out and populated the planet.

There, however, was one species that was not created. There is one species that was just born from another. This species was the race of man. Before man came along, the various species had children but not every child born inherited their parents magical or supernatural abilities. It was unclear why, but everyday it appeared that more and more of these powerless children were being born until they could be classified as their own species upon the world of Asmiara. These humans settled within the world of Asmiara and become to form relationship with the other species of Asmiara. One of their most known relationship was with the witches. Through, some would say giving the witches dominate status upon the planet that any relationship between them would be the most known.

There was some truth to this, but none of these relationship were as known as the one that witches and human had. It might have been the children born from the union of witches and man. These children had inherited magical abilities, but their magic was vastly different than the witches. Over time, these offsprings became known as Gypsies and took to the life of wandering. Neither witch or human appeared very accepting of these children. It was during this time that Yevhen was born. He was one of these gypsies---one of the firsts some might say. His mother had been a witch within the Lavoie clan while his father had been a knight from one of the human civilization.

Yevhen's parents met, fell in love, and had several children together--including Yevhen. It was clear these children had magic that was different than their mother, but instead of recoiling from these children and what these powers meant Yevhen's parents tried to help their children understand them. His mother even went as far as to enlist the concept of magic for help. His mother figured that if anyone could help her children understand their magic it would be magic herself. and Ceri was more than willing to help. It became clear that Yevhen stood out from his siblings. Casting spells was natural for him. It took no effort. In fact, it was as easy as breathing. His siblings had a harder time with it. While they did not strain to cast a spell, they couldn't cast them with as much ease as Yevhen.

Over time, Yevhen came up with the conclusion the difference between his sibling and him boiled down to one simple fact. Their magic was merely apart of whom they were while magic was whom he was. It was his soul. His essence. He was gypsy magic. It was this idea that lead him to believe that he belong to Ceri. He believed that he was meant to be her high priest, and that magic high priest and priestess should be a form of magic. However, he was not the only one whom sought this honor. It was a position that many desired to cultivated. The position for high priest and priestess for the concepts were the most cultivated position of the world. Ceri, however, decided that only two were worthy of even be considered for the title. Yevhen and the man whom she ended up picking.

Yevhen does not know while she picked the other over him. Perhaps, his magic scared her. Perhaps, she believed the magic the other possessed was what the world needed. Whatever, the case, Yevhen believed that she made a mistake. He did not believe she had chosen someone unworthy of her. The man would have been the perfect choose if Yevhen hadn't been alive. However, the fact remains that Yevhen was around and was the perfect choose. He believed that Ceri would come to realize this, and dismiss her currant high priest. But, that never came to pass, at least not while magic was Ceri. She ended up dying before she could change her mind. She and the other creative concepts gave their lives to save their world.

The world was being threaten to be destroyed by a man named Devaraj. He was the son of the high priest of the destructive concept of magic and the very first dragon that magic created. It was this fact that made Ceri see Devaraj and his twin brother as family---her grandson. It was this love that she bore for him that made her plead with the other concepts to find another way to stop him when he spread across the world threatening to destroy it all in his attempt to rewrite it. The other concepts heeded her pleas, and they decided to seal him way within another realm they created for him within the dagger. Ceri was willing to give up very essence in order to complete the spell that would seal Devaraj away, but the other creative concepts decided that they would not allow her to make that sacrifice if they can help it.

They each decided that they would give pieces of their essence to cast the spell, and that by doing this they could stop one of them from ceasing to exist. However, the cost of this spell was higher than any of them expected and all six concepts ended up perishing that day. They did not cease to exist. Through, no one was certain if they would ever walk the earth in the form they had taken before they cast the spell. Many believed they became nothing more than dust that the wind spread across the world, and that their influence and protection over Asmiara came about with how their tiny particle of their essence interacted with the various particle of the world. However, it was eventually realized that this wasn't the case. The creative concept were reborn, but it took many lives for them to realize whom they were.

After the creative concepts departed from the world there was a void that others fought to fill. War broke out across the land as people fought over whom should fill the role that the concepts had over the people. Various people left the great circular city that they had called home for many generations to start their own civilization out there within the world---including the gypsies that had been born from the union of witch and man. Still, those whom remained fought and it appeared that everything the creative concepts sacrificed to save the world was going to be in vain. That was until Sloane --the daughter of magic--decided to step in. She did what was needed to save the witches and therefore the world. She locked those whom were beyond reason away--leaving them to their madness, and than she rewrote the witches creation story so there were only six clans instead of twelve.

There were those--like Yevhen--whom knew the truth, but for various reasons kept quiet about it. Yevhen's silence came about because he understood why Sloane took the actions that she did, and he saw no reason to test if the world remain intact if he removed the strings that Sloane had used to tie it together. He believed that when the world is ready to face the truth of its heritage that it will come upon it regardless of his or anyone's will. Instead, he took to wandering. He became known as the wanderer among the gypsy. A position of great respect--although little power among the people. There are those that believed that he is their king of kings. The one that will unite them underneath one caravan, but for whatever reason thinks they are unworthy.

This isn't the case. Yevhen doesn't make any effort to unite them underneath one caravan because he wants them to realize that it is they whom held the abilities. They are gypsies--the children of his magic. His children, if one wanted to be technical. No instead, he traveled from caravan to caravan, living among them and providing them with advice or aid. Sometimes, he would stay among the various civilizations within the world or find the gypsies whom had been born from the union of a witch and man. Eventually, children born from this union stopped being gypsies. Yevhen is uncertain why. Perhaps, the universe decided that there were enough gypsies or perhaps the repeating fluke that allowed their magic to be different than their witch parents was fixed.

While this made Yevhen said, it did not devastate him. The gypsies were no where near dying out, and the world did not forget how they came about. There are stories all over the world how gypsies were born from the union of human and witches. Through, some people have come to believe that their ancestry to witches is further removed than it actually is. Yevhen continued to travel the world, and eventually traveled to other planets. He establish himself upon these planet, making himself a person of worth or note upon these other worlds. He became a being of legends and myths upon these different worlds. Someone's whose help was cultivated. Through, it was clear that his aid didn't come without a price. It was a price that many was unwilling to pay and those whom were willing to pay did not realize just how steep the price really was.

One such person was a young woman named Adalira. She came from a world that somehow came to posses the dagger that Devaraj had been sealed within, and he somehow found a way to break free from the dagger. He spread across her home world, wrecking havoc wherever he stepped and the people of this world tried everything to stop him but to no avail. It appeared that he would succeed in doing to this world what he failed to do with Asmiara. Adalira wished to save her people from this horror decided to disguise herself as a knight and set out to find a way to do this. It took her awhile, but eventually she came across the answer she sought. She realized that she had to seal him away again, but the dagger that had originally been his prison no longer hold the ability to become such again.

She knew that she had to find him another prison to seal him within, but nothing within her world seemed to posses the power. At least, not until she came upon a magical mirror. This mirror had a world within it that could be molded by those sealed within it. Adalira decided that the only way that she could save her people was to seal Devaraj within this mirror, but she was uncertain how to go about it. Magic was not her fore. So, she sought help from the one person whom she believed could aid her within this task--Yevhen. He was more than willing to give her aid, but told her that it would not come without a price. She didn't care. She told him that if it meant saving her people that she would be willing to pay any price. He told her that her price will to never see home again.

He told her that she would be sealed within the mirror with the dragon, and remain there with him throughout the passage of time. She would only be released from the mirror when he was, and found herself sealed within it when Devaraj found himself locked up within it again. She will be able to return to her home world if she ever found herself released from the mirror, but so much time will have passed that it will no longer be her home. And if the Devaraj is ever convinced not to continue down the path he is upon. If he is ever healed of the rage and hurt that lead him to decided to rewrite the world she will come to belong to Yevhen. She agreed to those terms, and the spell was cast. However, Devaraj in his attempt to keep the Yevhen from being successful with his spell did something that bond Adalira to him. It is unclear what he did, but the human female ended up sharing a similar bond with Devaraj that he shared with his own twin brother

Present

Time marched on, and within that time Yevhen explored other worlds until he found himself once again longing for home. He returned to Asmiara and found himself within the modern age. During this time, Devaraj and Adalira were release from the mirror, but the human female always found a way to send him back. He found himself free of his prison, yet again, but it appeared that whatever pain and grief that had caused him to decided to rewrite the world in the first place was given the healing push that it was needed. It didn't much matter to Yevhen the only thing he knew was that if Devaraj no longer needed to be sealed away within his prison Adalira would come to him, and he waits for the day that she does.

It has, also, come to his attention that the concepts have been reborn. More than that, they are slowly ascending to their original power--the power they had before they gave their life to save their people. The first that reached full ascension was magic herself, and when he heard that she had dismissed her high priest Yevhen decided he should go see if he could convince her to give him the honor. Convince her, he did. Through, she was a bit weary of it. They are on a trail run, but he is certain that within time she will realize that he is the high priest that she needs.
